Yes. DocArmor is built to handle both native text PDFs and unstructured, image-based documents. Our advanced OCR and AI pipeline reliably extracts and interprets text from messy faxes or low-quality scans, accurately identifying sensitive information even when the document formatting is inconsistent.

What is the difference between standard redaction and de-identification?

Standard redaction simply blacks out sensitive text, which protects the data but can make the resulting document difficult to read or analyze. DocArmor's upcoming de-identification mode replaces sensitive entities with realistic surrogates (e.g., seamlessly swapping the real name "John Smith" with a surrogate like "Mark Davis"). This preserves the natural flow and structural utility of the document for research, software testing, or analytics while maintaining total privacy.

What happens to my data after the documents are processed?

We operate on a strict zero-retention model. Your documents remain in our system only for the duration of your active job. The moment you download your finalized files and close the session, all associated document data is instantly and permanently wiped from our secure infrastructure. Your data is never stored long-term and is never used to train our AI models.

How can I be sure the AI didn't miss anything?

When the 7 days are up, or the 20 pages are used, the trial simply ends: nothing rolls over into a paid plan, and you only start paying when you choose one.

How does billing work?

Billing follows the plan you pick. Pay-As-You-Go is prepaid: $20 buys 222 pages, $50 buys 625, and packs never expire. Starter includes 300 pages a month for $20.99 and Professional includes 1,000 for $49.99; anything beyond the allowance is billed automatically at month-end, at $0.10 and $0.07 a page respectively.
